The Flash has been an absolute blast to start Season 4, very much enjoying it. The Flash title (bright red and the lightning background) is pretty cool to start the episodes.
Some things I enjoyed from The Flash S4 E2
1) Barry making breakfast to the tune of Bob Segar's Old Time Rock and Roll, total fun
.
2) The Flash totally dismantling the car leaving only the drivers seat, awesome VFX and such a cool scene.
3) Barry catching the grenade before it explodes, again a awesome VFX scene.
Can I say this episode topped the last one, same as Supergirl? When you start with Old Time Rock and Roll by Bob Seeger (my theme song by the way) and Grant Gustin doing a Tom Cruise Risky Business or maybe a tryout for Lip Sync Battle...you know the fun is back. and all those VFX scenes were like a comic book come to life. And I even like the change of pace villain in The Thinker. I may actually like this big bad this season. The fun of seasons 1 and 2 is back.
And by the way, notice the marriage counselor? That was actress Donna Pescow. I remember her as the mom on the syndicated late 80's syndicated comedy
Out of This World. Her teen daughter (Maureen Flanigan) was an alien with powers. Her dad was from outer space. Rumor has it the dad, Troy, was voiced by Burt Reynolds. Before that she was the title character on the short-lived ABC comedy show
Angie. And even before that she was in the cast of
Saturday Night Fever.

this article from Parade she talks about the film on this its 40th anniversary.
